In-Mission Training
In order to provide crucial psychological maintenance for employees in mission, we offer training that reinforces the concepts taught before deployment, but with content reflecting the current situation. MCPS can send its doctoral-level psychologists to key locations and run multiple sessions providing an opportunity for all to attend voluntary or mandatory sessions. In-Mission Training can be coupled with the possibility of in-country counseling and can cover such topics as:
Adapting to a foreign, hostile environment
Managing the daily stress associated with living and working in a hostile environment
Maintaining relationships at home
Coping with traumatic events
Identifying problems with co-workers and providing support
